It's probably worth mentioning that this game is currently ranked in the 300s for Games.Arcade and in the 100s for Games.Kids. The overall ranking I'm not even sure of, it's probably 1/10th of that.

If you look at ranking to sales graphs, like this one... http://www.joelcomm.com/app_store_ranktosales_revealed.html
you'll see that applications outside the top 100 are only making about $25-50 a day. This is why you don't see many updates to applications outside the top 100 rankers. There is no point in developers expending more energy into an application that will still sell just a few dozen copies a day for 70% of 99 cents.

The primary reason we listed Abby Crabby in Games.Kids was to improve ranking. Don't expect it to entertain your toddler for hours. My four year old plays this game and can get to level 4. My six year old plays and gets to level 6. Most adults get to about level 20.

In any case, we think it's a pretty challenging game. It's fun to play when you've got a few minutes. We think it's well put together and quite a bit of fun. I'm sure you'll think so too! Thanks for your support.

A: Don’t immediately throw trash back unless things are frantic. Catch the trash and hold it. From there you can guide remaining trash onto Abby’s head and football it. Also throw trash at angles with angled swipes. Aim carefully at larger piles of falling trash for more points. Super big points when throwing the star through big piles of trash.

1. Crab catcher.
2. Scuba diver.
3. Kids mode (easy play)
4. Boss modes (ideas on bosses?)

- Something that destroys all trash on screen when you shake the ipod

- Some sort of "net" over the crabs you gotta protect
- Related to that, maybe a trampoline type thing

Check out our 1.1 release.
We tried the shake, but it wasn't intuitive and hard to control. We included a cartoon TNT stick. When you toss it up into the ocean it pops all the trash away. It also make the screen look like it's shaking! :)

There are two other concepts we've been kicking around for 1.2+
1. An umbrella, we could have Abby open it up to protect the crabs.
2. A crab catch net. It drops down and tries to snatch away a baby crab.

5. power-ups...hmm i can think of power-ups as the crabs claws become longer and fatter as he eat a power-up? with this powerful hand, he can swipe the trash more with his hand.

1. Crab catcher / suba diver, i can imagine a diver throwing some nets and the crab have to avoid the nets as well as to clear the rubbish.

4. boss mode, i will think of bosses like stingrays / jellyfish (able to generate electricity and shock the crab. Once the crab is shocked, it is unable to clear the trash and protect its young)

hope u got my ideas in the next update...and a promo code as well.

This is a fantastic game..Good music during gameplay and the mother crab is so cute. It even responds moving via the iphone accelerometer. Very nice game i can recommend to people of all ages!

I played this game coupleme of times. It is noce game, but at the later stages, it became little difficult to save the crab babbies. I like to play again to develop the speed. Nice app though!
